Sorry for the small maps, I’m traveling today, no laptop!
Here are some infrared maps from last night at 9:41 PM, 7/19/2025.
The fire did not spread aggressively down slope into Forks of Salmon as of the time of the mapping the fire was burning intensely on the upper slopes and had advanced significantly up the canyon.
The fire became well established into McNeal Creek and spot fires were pushing over the ridge to the east into the 2020 Red Salmon Complex burn area.
The fire was well established in Pollock Gulch to the north of Sawyers Bar Road.
The fire had not moved significantly into Crapo Creek though there are two active slopovers showing on these images. Yellow areas are cooling down and red are intense heat.
