SIX HOUR PROGRESSION MAP:

#OakFire seven hour progression map: Red fill represents IR data captured this morning 07/25/2022 @ 12am PDT. White line inside the fire was the captured approximately six hours prior @ 11am PDT.

Let’s take a walk around and see where the fire is most active:

 

Beginning in the northwest at Carstens Road and moving clockwise around the fire to Darrah Roadd:

Looking northeast over the 140 and Ponderosa Way: Orange fill showing where the fire is cooling down.

Looking South over Jerseydale: Fire was holding along Bear Clover Ln. in the lower right of the map. Fire in and along the Ferguson fire footprint east of Jerseydale and the Blue Glory Mine trailhead. Fire along both sides of Jerseydale Rd. above Jerseydale near Skelton Creek. Some of the fire growth in this area may be from firing operations.

Looking West Southwest toward Jerseydale. Fire backing down canyon, well into the Ferguson fire footprint.

Looking South toward Darrah Rd, near Deer Springs Rd.
