Boise Fire backing into recent fires – Ryan Stephens
After making a significant slope reversal and running to the top of Antenna Ridge, the fire has moderated over the past 24 hours and is now backing into recent fire footprints. Today, crews are working on the fire’s east side with the addition of two new divisions. These resources are tasked with reopening lines from Orleans Mountain to Nordheimer Flat. Crews will also be working to construct hand line along High Point Ridge via the Nordheimer Trail. Priority continues to be protecting the community of Orleans. Weather today is expected to be similar to yesterday.
