These images capture (almost too well) the inversion layer in the Seiad Valley.
I can hardly breathe just looking at these pictures.

More photos sent to us from Jamie. The firing show last night along Grider creek:

Nighttime firing ops on the Yeti from Sluice Box near confluence of Grider Creek and Klamath River. Multi agency firing ops began at 7pm from dozer line on Grider Creek.

Looking southwest. Seiad Valley in lower-left. Most of the left flank of the fire in this photo was secured thru a firing operation on West Grider Creek Road, which is also where 2014 Frying Pan Fire was held.
